Hallmark loves cheesy Christmas romance movies, but this one is unreal. Join me as I recap Miss Christmas!
We get every single Hallmark trope you can imagine, all shoved into one extremely boring movie!! Enemies to lovers, big city girlie visits small town, someone hates Christmas – the list goes on and on!! But the biggest reason this bad movie stands out to me is simple our Hallmark Girlie’s job. Utterly insane.

IMDb synopsis: “Nicknamed “Miss Christmas,” the official tree finder for Chicago’s renowned Radcliffe Tree lighting is left desperate to find the perfect tree. A letter from a young boy promising his tree is perfect sends her to a small town where she learns the young boy’s dad isn’t willing to part with his tree. While sparks fly, she’ll be forced to confront what she’s really been missing for Christmas.”
Even though all Hallmark movies are basically the same thing, Miss Christmas stands out simply because of her job (and also it’s unbelievably boring). She spends her entire career looking for a Christmas tree for the Radcliffe Centre in Chicago.
That’s it.
Somehow she’s able to afford a beautiful (and massive) Chicago apartment? Would love to know how she budgets for that.
If you want another Christmas Hallmark that’s equally bad, definitely check out Mariah Carey’s own Christmas movie! It’s awful!! If you’re bored of Christmas movies, I’d recommend Chad Michael Murray’s movie about a broken pier…. yes. I wish that was a joke.
